Infrastructure improvements underway at schools in Venezuela and Colombia

Regional authorities in Venezuela and Colombia are conducting infrastructure improvements at educational institutions. In Maracay, Venezuela, the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) is undergoing maintenance as part of a “Back to School” plan. Works include waterproofing modules, recovering common areas, and performing landscaping and weeding to prepare for the return of students and faculty.

In Colombia, the restoration of the Juan XXIII School has reached 45.7% completion in its second phase. The project focuses on structural reinforcement, architectural restoration, and functional upgrades. Current efforts include roof reconstruction using cement tiles and clay tiles, repairing structural elements, and installing new sanitary facilities to preserve the building's heritage value.
