Infrastructure improvements underway in Bailo and Hualpén

Infrastructure developments are underway in Spain and Chile to improve road safety and transit efficiency.

In Bailo, Spain, a section of the A-132 highway is closed to facilitate the widening of a bridge. Miguel Ángel Arminio, Director General of Roads and Infrastructure for the Government of Aragon, stated that the intervention is necessary to improve traffic flow and safety for drivers in the Alto Aragón region.

In Hualpén, Chile, the Colón Corridor project has reached approximately 90% completion. The Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (Minvu) has activated new lighting for junctions 1 and 2 of Section 4A, covering the area from Campanario to the Las Golondrinas overpass. The $19.2 billion CLP project involves installing 12-meter vehicular poles and 5-meter pedestrian poles to enhance security for commuters.
