Infrastructure improvements underway in São Luís and Patrocínio
In São Luís, Mayor Esmênia Miranda has overseen the delivery of new asphalt paving in the Alto do Pinho neighborhood. The project, executed by the Municipal Secretariat of Works and Public Services (Semosp), covered 10 streets using resurfacing, interlocking pavement, and wet process techniques to improve urban mobility and road safety.
In Patrocínio, the municipal government is conducting various infrastructure works across urban and rural areas. Urban efforts include installing a storm drainage network in the Eneias neighborhood and sanitation services on Cassimiro Santos Street to prevent flooding. Rural initiatives involve earthmoving at the São Pedro Settlement, road graveling in the Pedros region, and the construction of a five-meter bridge in the Santo Antônio da Lagoa Seca community to facilitate local access and agricultural transport.
