Following citizen requests regarding road deformation that hindered transportation, the municipality's Science Affairs Directorate carried out the repairs to improve safety and accessibility for both drivers and pedestrians. Mayor Ahmet Kaya stated that the municipality prioritizes citizen feedback through a participatory democracy and social municipalism approach.

In Alanya, residents of the Okurcalar neighborhood, a significant tourism area, have raised concerns regarding widespread poor road conditions. Local citizens claim that despite multiple reports made to the Alanya Municipality Solution Desk, maintenance issues remain unresolved. In one instance, two tourism workers were observed attempting to repair a damaged section of the road using their own tools and materials, an act residents cited as a demonstration of the local service deficit.
