Infrastructure maintenance in Poland causes road and water disruptions

Infrastructure maintenance in Poland will cause temporary disruptions to road traffic and water services in late October 2026.

Road closures are scheduled from October 20 to October 30 on two county roads in the Tura district. Two viaducts crossing the A2 motorway, located in Kuny (road 3219P) and Janów (road 3400P), will be closed to facilitate the replacement of expansion joints. The Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad is the investor, with B2 Sp. z o.o. performing the work. Detours have been established for affected drivers.

Additionally, the Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej in Krośniewice has announced potential water supply interruptions or pressure drops on October 21 and 22 between 10:00 and 14:00. These disruptions are due to the connection of a new water main to the municipal network. Affected areas include Krośniewice and several surrounding villages, including Pernę, Kajew, Kopy, Ostałów, Bardzinek, Teresin, Tumidaj, Głaznów, Bielice, Raszynek, Zosinek, Morawce, Stare Morawce, and Pomarzany.
