Infrastructure maintenance scheduled in Grötsch and Krefeld

Various infrastructure projects are scheduled in Germany. In Grötsch, Mitteldeutsche Netzgesellschaft Strom mbH will conduct essential work on the power grid on October 22, 2026, from 07:30 to approximately 16:30. While a backup power supply is planned, short-term interruptions may occur, and owners of self-generation systems, such as photovoltaic plants, will experience a complete interruption during this period.

In Krefeld, Netzgesellschaft Niederrhein (NGN) is nearing completion of work on a new district heating line intended to connect the Krefeld Zoo and the Glockenspitz vocational college. Starting October 19, access from Berliner Straße into Glindholzstraße will be restored, though Berliner Straße will remain under single-lane traffic due to upcoming repaving. Glindholzstraße will be closed between Windmühlenstraße and Keutmannstraße for final connections, with completion expected in mid-December.
