Infrastructure projects advance at Serra Dourada and Arena Joinville

Modernization efforts at the Serra Dourada Complex in Brazil are entering a new phase. The project, which involves the stadium, internal rings, and Goiânia Arena, represents a private investment of approximately R$ 400 million. Work includes the construction of foundations for a new lower grandstand and VIP areas, as well as finishing touches on bars and restrooms. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2028.

In Joinville, the installation of a synthetic turf at Arena Joinville has been delayed by two months due to heavy rainfall affecting drainage system implementation. The R$ 4 million project, which includes new irrigation and LED lighting, is now expected to be completed by the end of December. The stadium will receive FIFA Quality Pro certification. While works continue, Joinville Esporte Clube is using the João Marcatto stadium in Jaraguá do Sul for matches.
