Infrastructure projects advance in Brčko District and Ston

Infrastructure projects are advancing in Brčko District and Ston. In Brčko, the reconstruction of a historically significant building to serve as a Chamber Theater is nearing completion. Following an initial investment of 1.6 million KM, an additional 900,000 KM has been secured for final works and modern equipment. Authorities are also working on the legal documentation required to establish a professional public theater institution by the end of the year.

In Ston, construction of a new sports hall for the local elementary school is underway. The project, valued at over 3.5 million EUR, is part of the ‘ACTIVE’ initiative led by Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and will include telescopic stands, changing rooms, and full accessibility for persons with disabilities, serving both students and the local community.
