Infrastructure projects advance in the Dominican Republic

Major infrastructure and hospitality projects are advancing in the Dominican Republic. Construction is progressing on the Holiday Inn Santo Domingo Airport, a $24 million investment located near the Las Américas International Airport (AILA). Managed by Aerodom, the hotel will feature 154 rooms across four levels on a 9,000-square-meter site, aimed at serving passengers, crews, and executives.

Simultaneously, work continues on the Arena Santo Domingo on Jacobo Majluta Avenue. This modern venue, spanning over 70,000 square meters, is being designed specifically for large-scale concerts, conventions, and mass events. The facility is expected to accommodate between 10,000 and 12,000 attendees, featuring climate control, acoustic insulation, and parking for more than 2,000 vehicles.
