Infrastructure projects advance on GO-020 and BR-040 in Goiás

Infrastructure projects are progressing in the state of Goiás, Brazil, involving major road restorations and new complex constructions.

On the GO-020 highway, Goinfra has initiated a new stage of restoration services. Starting Tuesday, traffic traveling from Goiânia toward Bela Vista will be diverted to Avenida Nossa Senhora de Fátima via Avenida Dr. José Hermano. The works focus on the stretch between the 50 km/h speed reduction barrier and the Alpha Mall viaduct. The project, which began in June, covers 30 kilometers and includes the application of high-performance Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) to improve durability under heavy traffic.

Simultaneously, the Valparaíso de Goiás road complex on the BR-040 has reached 90% completion. Crews have begun the asphalt paving phase at km 2, with full completion expected by next week. This R$ 35 million project, funded by the municipality and the federal government, aims to reduce congestion for the approximately 35,000 vehicles that travel daily between Goiás and the Distrito Federal.
