Infrastructure projects and safety demands in Jalapa and Cajamarca

In Jalapa, Mexico, municipal authorities have completed road rehabilitation works in the Ranchería Requila 2da. Sección. The project included the application of hot asphalt concrete on isolated road sections and the construction of a box-type bridge to improve connectivity and transportation conditions for local families.

In Cajamarca, Peru, residents of the La Paccha sector are demanding the construction of a concrete bridge to replace a makeshift wooden structure. The current bridge, built by community members, poses significant safety risks to pedestrians and vehicles. Residents reported that the structure is particularly dangerous for schoolchildren, noting that a minor has previously fallen into the ravine. The community is calling on authorities to intervene to ensure safe passage to the Moyepampa neighborhood.
