Infrastructure projects begin in Nowy Sącz and Leszczyny
Construction has commenced on several transport infrastructure projects in Poland. In the Dąbrówka district of Nowy Sącz, work has begun on an 18-meter bus platform near the intersection of Dąbrówka and Przesmyk streets. The project, funded with 50,000 PLN, aims to provide a paved waiting area for passengers who previously had to stand on grassy shoulders.
In Leszczyny, construction has also started on a new transport hub located on Dworcowa Street near the railway station. Supported by EU funding covering approximately 85 percent of the costs, the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. The hub will include a 51-space car park, a bus parking area, bicycle shelters, electric vehicle and electric bus charging infrastructure, a bicycle path, and new greenery.
