Infrastructure projects expand electrical access in Argentina and Peru
Infrastructure projects in Argentina and Peru are expanding electrical service access to underserved communities.
In Neuquén, Argentina, the Municipality is investing approximately $216 million pesos to complete an electrical network in the Toma Norte sector of Gran Neuquén Norte. The project aims to replace irregular connections and damaged infrastructure, such as broken pillars and vandalized wiring, with formal service. The work covers nine blocks and is expected to benefit roughly 100 families by improving electrical safety and stability.
In Moquegua, Peru, the Ministry of Energy and Mines has completed a rural electrification project in Las Pampas de Clemesí. This initiative involves the installation of a 33 kV primary network and 380/220 V secondary networks. The project is set to provide electricity to more than 1,400 citizens across three localities, supporting local economic development and community integration.
