Infrastructure projects in Brazil involve new roundabout construction
EPR Triângulo has begun installing an elongated roundabout at kilometer 225 of the BR-452 highway in Santa Juliana. This engineering solution, designed to improve visibility and reduce vehicle speeds at intersections, is part of a larger safety and traffic fluidity initiative for the concessionaire’s 600-kilometer network. The project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2027 and is estimated to generate 40 direct and indirect jobs.
In Blumenau, construction of a new roundabout on Rua Benjamin Constant in the Escola Agrícola neighborhood is causing changes to public transit. Starting October 29, 2026, the 904 line (Lúcio Esteves/Coripós) will follow a diverted route in both directions, utilizing nearby streets such as Rua José Deeke and Rua Luiz Altemburg Senior before returning to its normal path.
