Infrastructure projects launched in Luperón and San José de Guayusa

In the Dominican Republic, Minister of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza launched the expansion of the sanitary sewage system in Luperón, Puerto Plata. The project involves an investment of approximately RD$355 million and the installation of 21 kilometers of new piping. Expected to take 12 months to complete, the work aims to improve sanitation and protect the local natural bay. The expansion will benefit over 9,000 residents and is projected to serve more than 10,000 visitors annually by 2056.

In Ecuador, the parish of San José de Guayusa in the Francisco de Orellana canton will receive a new child development center named ‘El Edén’. The project requires an investment of USD 202,695.85 with an estimated construction period of 120 days. The facility is designed to provide specialized infrastructure for early childhood care and development, while also providing local employment opportunities during its construction phase.
