Infrastructure projects progress in Wronki and Łącko
Infrastructure projects are advancing in different regions of Poland. In Wronki, local authorities and the Wronki Forest District are developing a concept for a forest bicycle trail along road No. 140. The project aims to avoid placing cyclists on the provincial road and will include an approximately 80-meter bridge structure over the Nadolnik ponds. Due to requirements from the State Forests, the trail will feature a natural surface and will exclude lighting, benches, or small architecture to minimize impact on the forest environment, making it unsuitable for lightweight road bikes.
In the Nowy Sącz region, construction of the Łącko bypass is underway. The project, managed by Nowak Mosty, has a budget exceeding 101 million PLN and is expected to be completed by February 2029. The nearly 3-kilometer route is designed to divert transit traffic away from the centers of Łącko and Czernecka. Initial stages, including site preparation, vegetation removal, and topsoil stripping, have been completed, and earthworks are currently in progress.
