Infrastructure projects underway in Chihuahua and Maule
In Chihuahua, Mexico, Governor Maru Campos is supervising several major roadwork projects aimed at improving mobility for thousands of families. A key project involves the construction of a 611-meter overpass at the intersection of Fuerza Aérea and Palestina avenues, which will facilitate traffic toward the airport and eastern neighborhoods. The state government is investing 1,559 million pesos into various strategic works, including additional overpasses and underpasses in both Chihuahua City and Ciudad Juárez.
In the Maule Region of Chile, Governor Pedro Pablo Álvarez Salamanca and the SEREMI of Public Works, Yasna Cancino, are advancing the Colbún lakefront road project. The regional road authority has completed the design for the improvement of route L-355 between kilometers 5.6 and 19.2. The project is now moving toward the resource application phase with the Maule Regional Government, with work potentially beginning by mid-next year to improve connectivity and reduce issues caused by dust and mud in the area.
