Infrastructure projects underway in Niğde and Düzce

Niğde Municipality has launched infrastructure modernization works in the Aşağı Kayabaşı neighborhood, specifically in the Özbelde area. Mayor Emrah Özdemir inspected the site, noting that old asbestos pipes are being replaced with modern polyethylene pipes to ensure healthier drinking water. These works aim to resolve chronic water pressure issues and frequent weekend outages. Once the pipe replacement is completed by the end of the month, asphalt paving will begin.

In Düzce, the municipality has initiated soil survey studies to facilitate natural gas investments in newly annexed neighborhoods and adjacent villages. The surveys will cover areas including Akyazı, Çerkez Taşköprü, Kirazlı, Otluoğlu, and Mamure. These studies, expected to be completed within two months, will serve as the foundation for the zoning plans required to expand natural gas access to these residential zones.
