Infrastructure projects underway in Santa Izabel and Santa Teresinha

In Santa Izabel, São Gonçalo, municipal infrastructure works have reached 108 streets with the installation of drainage networks. According to a report from the local administration, the project has reached 39% execution. The works also include curbs and sidewalks in 58 streets and paving in 29 streets. The drainage system aims to reduce rainwater accumulation and improve runoff, with the project expected to eventually cover more than 120 streets.

In Santa Teresinha, the Municipal Water and Sewage Service (Semae) has installed 13 kilometers of new piping as part of a water supply modernization project. The initiative utilizes non-destructive technology, such as horizontal directional drilling and pipe bursting, to minimize traffic disruption and street excavation. The R$ 25.3 million investment aims to replace 19.7 kilometers of water networks and 2,046 residential connections, benefiting over 80,000 people.
