Infrastructure projects underway in Villa Cañás and San Juan

In Villa Cañás, the municipality has announced the closure of Calle 66 between 53 and 53 bis in the Plan VEA neighborhood to facilitate paving works. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes and follow local signage while the construction is ongoing. This project is part of a broader 2026 road infrastructure program aimed at improving urban circulation, following previous paving interventions on several other streets in the area.

In San Juan, the Provincial Road Directorate has completed the first section of repaving on the Circunvalación avenue. The renovated stretch, located on the inner ring between General Acha and Urquiza streets, now features a wider 10-meter roadway compared to the previous 7.5 meters, along with paved and marked shoulders. While this section is fully open to traffic, construction continues on the inner ring from Urquiza Street to 9 de Julio Street, requiring motorists to use the northern collector road as a detour.
