Poland municipalities advance diverse infrastructure and development projects
Various municipalities across Poland are advancing diverse infrastructure and development projects. In Katowice, MTX Development has launched public consultations for a high-rise residential and service building at Chorzowska 1, designed by Konior Studio. In Kielce, residents are protesting a proposed development by ESC that includes up to 10 buildings, despite the developer reducing the planned height to 7 stories.
Transportation improvements are widespread. Opole is implementing a 176.3 million PLN bicycle and pedestrian path project, while Zgierz is beginning 11 separate sidewalk and cycle path investments. In the Siedlce district, road modernization is underway in Zbuczyn, Paprotnia, and Skórzec. Other notable projects include a new road in Jazgarka, a sidewalk construction in Rzeszów, and a road expansion in the Nowy Duninów region.
Public facility upgrades include a planned aquapark in Ostrów Wielkopolski, a modernized football stadium in Pilawa, and a new fire station garage in Brzostowa Góra. Additionally, Koszęcin is coordinating with the Silesian Voivodeship to fund a sidewalk in Bukowiec, and Skoki has secured a contractor for winter road maintenance.
