Infrastructure repairs in Jihlava and Teplice cause traffic disruptions

Ongoing road reconstruction projects in Jihlava and Teplice are causing significant traffic disruptions.

In Jihlava, repairs on Znojemská street have undergone schedule adjustments. Asphalt laying near the Orlen gas station will restrict access to surrounding streets and public transport for approximately 20 hours on Saturday, October 17. Public transport lines E and 4 will face service changes, with some routes terminating early and requiring transfers. The final stage of the project is scheduled to begin on October 20, with full road reopening planned by the end of the month.

In Teplice, the reconstruction of the section between Hřbitovní and Nákladní streets continues. While the second stage concludes this Friday, the third and fourth stages will begin Saturday morning. These upcoming phases will implement traffic management via traffic lights at the roundabout near DEK building materials and close certain exits and entrances between road I/8 and Hřbitovní street. The project, costing 26.6 million CZK, is expected to be completed by November 3.
