Infrastructure repairs underway in Maturín and Viña del Mar

In Maturín, Venezuela, the local government has restored street lighting on a strategic section of Avenida Bella Vista. The project involved installing two new metal poles and high-performance luminaires to replace structures previously destroyed by vehicle collisions. The work included laying over 200 meters of cable to improve safety for both pedestrians and drivers in the 19 de Abril sector.

In Viña del Mar, Chile, partial traffic has resumed on the northern lane of Avenida El Tamarugal following emergency repairs to a sinkhole caused by July's weather fronts. The Serviu-led project, costing over 200 million pesos, involves reconstructing the roadway, sidewalks, and rainwater systems. This emergency intervention complements a larger 1.5 billion peso conservation project currently in its final stages to improve connectivity for the El Olivar, Manuel Bustos, and Lomas Latorre areas.
