Infrastructure updates reported for Bucharest parks and Buzău roads

In Bucharest, Vlad Popescu Piedone, the Mayor of Sector 5, announced the status of local park renovations. Work on Șinei Park is scheduled to begin on September 1, with an estimated completion time of approximately one year. Meanwhile, modernization of Humulești Park is in an advanced stage, including the restoration of paths and play areas. However, the park's reopening has been delayed by approximately one week due to technical issues encountered during construction.

In Buzău County, the rehabilitation of the road leading to the Mud Volcanoes is slated to begin on September 1. Marcel Ciolacu, president of the Buzău County Council, stated that the start date depends on obtaining a technical permit from OMV Petrom. The company manages natural gas pipelines located beneath the road and near a bridge over the Buzău River. While OMV Petrom has expressed interest in resolving the request, the permit may be conditional upon a formal agreement with the County Council regarding the management of the pipelines during construction.
