Infrastructure updates reported in Argentina and Spain

Municipal workers in Argentina have completed repairs at the Barrio 250 Viviendas lifting station following a significant sewage network obstruction. The blockage was caused by hygiene products and debris, including a cloth towel that jammed a pump. Maintenance required emptying a seven-meter deep pit to remove the waste.

In Spain, elevators at the remodeled Villabona train station in Llanera are now operational. The service follows complaints from the San Miguel de Villardeveyo Neighbors Association regarding accessibility issues after the station opened without the lifts functional. The €7.7 million modernization project also includes a new underpass, renovated platforms, and updated security and lighting systems.
