Infrastructure updates: Road damage in Cumaná and community paving in San Juan del Río

In Cumaná, Venezuela, drivers are reporting significant damage to a section of the Antonio José de Sucre highway (Troncal 9). The deterioration is occurring near a water filling station used by cistern trucks to supply local communities. Constant water runoff from this station has created large potholes, causing concern for motorists regarding vehicle damage and traffic safety on this vital connection.

In San Juan del Río, Mexico, residents of the La Estancia community have inaugurated 4,800 square meters of cobblestone paving at their main access point. The project was largely self-funded through community efforts, including voluntary contributions and raffles. Mayor Roberto Cabrera Valencia attended the inauguration, praising the collaborative model between the local government and the community of over 10,000 inhabitants.
