Infrastructure updates: Road reopening in Chile and traffic closures in Argentina
In Chile, the Ministry of Public Works and the Municipality of Puchuncaví have reopened Route E-30-F at km 40 to traffic in both directions. The road had been closed since July 18 following significant erosion that damaged the road platform. After 26 days of continuous work to restore the structural and functional capacity of the route, connectivity has been restored.
In Argentina, the Municipality of Neuquén has announced traffic closures on Avenida Mosconi at the intersection of Linares and Gran Avenida. The closure is scheduled from Saturday, August 15, until Monday, August 17, with traffic expected to resume on Tuesday, August 18. The works involve excavation and the connection of a traffic light system as part of a larger project to transform the former National Route 22 into an urban avenue, which includes new drainage systems to prevent flooding.
