Infrastructure updates: Roadway improvements in Carrosio and Termoli

Infrastructure projects in Italy are reaching key milestones in Carrosio and Termoli. In Carrosio, the State Road 160 is expected to return to two-way traffic after a decade of construction. The project, initiated by Cociv in 2016 as compensation for the Third Valico, has faced numerous delays due to project modifications, utility interference involving gas and methane pipelines, and previous concerns regarding asbestos in the area.

In Termoli, the Cosib has awarded a contract to Adriatica Strade A-Stra Spa for the safety improvement of a 1.1-kilometer connector road at the A14 motorway exit. The project, valued at approximately 286,000 euros (with a total economic framework of 411,600 euros), is funded by the Molise Region and a local industrial consortium. The works, aimed at repairing potholes and surface deterioration, are scheduled to be completed within 16 consecutive days.
