Infrastructure works cause traffic disruptions in Balneário Camboriú and Uberlândia
Multiple cities in Brazil are implementing traffic restrictions due to ongoing infrastructure and sanitation projects.
In Balneário Camboriú, several roads are facing partial or total closures for macrodrainage, paving, and maintenance of water and sewage networks. Key areas affected include Avenida Brasil, Avenida Normando Tedesco, and Avenida do Estado, among others. Authorities advise motorists to use alternative routes and exercise caution near construction sites.
In Uberlândia, traffic interventions are occurring across five neighborhoods to facilitate basic sanitation and road improvements. Managed by the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat and the Municipal Department of Water and Sewage (Dmae), the works include sewage collector services on Avenida Rondon Pacheco and pluvial drainage in the eastern zone. Specific closures and lane reductions are reported in neighborhoods such as Copacabana, Tibery, Cidade Jardim, Alto Umuarama, and Nossa Senhora das Graças.
