Infrastructure works cause transport disruptions in Malaga and Nottingham

Infrastructure projects in Malaga and Nottingham are causing significant disruptions to local public transport and traffic flows.

In Malaga, work on a 510-metre section of the metro extension near Calle Eugenio Gross has led to new traffic diversions. Starting September 29, EMT bus routes 15 and 18 will undergo temporary route changes, with the Eugenio Gross bus stop moving to Martínez de la Rosa. While pedestrian access to buildings and premises remains operational, vehicle access to certain streets like Calle Domingo Savio and Calle Vicente Ferrer will be restricted to authorized vehicles under five metres in length.

In Nottingham, a series of road closures and ongoing works will affect numerous bus services starting September 28. Major disruptions include overnight closures on Loughborough Road, phase two works on Nuthall Road, and ongoing demolition works around Maid Marian Way. The latter is expected to impact a wide range of services, including routes 1, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 34, 45, 48, 49, 77, 78, 79, and 90.
