Infrastructure works in Klagenfurt and Wasserburg cause traffic disruptions

Infrastructure projects in Klagenfurt, Austria, and Wasserburg, Germany, are set to cause local traffic disruptions due to upcoming asphalt works.

In Klagenfurt, asphalt paving on Schleusenweg is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 19. Starting at 8:30 PM, KMG Line B will be affected, operating only as far as Baumbachplatz for both inbound and outbound trips. Several stops, including Stadion Zaungasse and Viktring Schule, will not be served during this period.

In Wasserburg, construction on the new Mangfallkanal-Brücke will lead to temporary traffic changes starting Monday, October 19. A one-way system will be implemented on the temporary bridge from 7:00 PM Monday until 4:00 AM Tuesday. Additionally, full closures are required during the nights of October 20–21 and October 21–22, between 7:30 PM and 4:00 AM. These works are part of the preparations to transition traffic to the new bridge in early November.
