Infrastructure works trigger transport disruptions in Caracas and Bogotá

Infrastructure and transport adjustments are scheduled in Caracas and Bogotá.

In Caracas, the National Institute of Land Transport (INTT) has announced road closures from September 22 to 24. The works, which will take place over three consecutive nights starting at 7:00 p.m., involve road marking and signaling. The schedule includes the stretch between Avenida San Martín and Avenida Fuerzas Armadas on Tuesday, and the section between Avenida Fuerzas Armadas and Calle Las Artes on Wednesday and Thursday.

In Bogotá, TransMilenio S.A. will implement a total closure of the Calle 22 temporary station on Avenida Caracas to facilitate construction of Metro Line 1. The initial suspension begins Friday, October 11 at 11:00 p.m. and ends Saturday, October 31 at 4:00 a.m. Following this phase, the station will operate under a schedule of weekend and nighttime closures, remaining closed from Friday nights until Monday mornings.
