ING introduces brokerage accounts for family foundations

ING Bank Śląski has expanded its service offerings by introducing brokerage accounts specifically for family foundations. This new feature allows these entities to access capital markets and manage investment assets more effectively.

The brokerage service complements ING’s existing suite for family foundations, which includes daily banking, deposit offers, and private banking services for founders and their families. To qualify for the brokerage account, a foundation must already hold a PLN bank account with ING. Agreements can be signed remotely via qualified electronic signature or in person at a Private Banking Center.

This move responds to the growing importance of family foundations in Poland for wealth management and succession planning. Estimates suggest that between 60,000 and 80,000 family businesses in Poland will face succession processes by 2030.
