Ingelheim implements new Park-and-Ride pricing

New parking regulations for Park-and-Ride facilities in Ingelheim took effect on October 5, 2026. Commuters using the Griesmühle parking lot can now purchase day, weekly, or monthly tickets via an automated machine. Pricing for these spots is set at 5 euros for a day, 10 euros for a week, and 30 euros for a month.

The restructuring follows a decision by the Ingelheim City Council on June 15, 2026, after previous funding obligations for the parking spaces expired in October 2025. The council opted for equal treatment between commuters and those working in the city center, leading to the integration of former station parking spaces into general municipal parking management.

The station parking garage remains open to all users. Permanent monthly spaces at the station are available for 50 euros, though a waiting list is currently in place due to high demand. The city is working to expand the supply of these permanent spaces.
