Ingersoll launches three-year tree planting initiative
The Town of Ingersoll has initiated a three-year park naturalization and riparian enhancement project. In partnership with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, the program aims to plant 4,315 native trees and shrubs across six local parks. The initiative, which will add nearly three hectares of new tree cover, relies on the participation of local students and community volunteers.
