Ingeteam supplies 236 MVA of solar capacity in Australia

Spanish clean energy technology manufacturer Ingeteam has completed the supply of 144 inverters for six utility-scale solar projects in Australia. The projects, which are now fully operational, are located across New South Wales and Queensland.

Developed and constructed by the Greece-headquartered energy company Metlen, the portfolio has a combined capacity of 236 MVA. The specific sites include the Corowa, Junee, and Wagga Wagga solar farms in the Riverina region of New South Wales, the Wyalong Solar Farm, and the Kingaroy Solar Farm in Queensland.

Ingeteam utilized central inverter technology for these projects to ensure high efficiency and grid compatibility. The company has maintained a presence in Australia for over a decade through its subsidiary in North Wollongong.
