Inglourious Basterds celebrates 17th anniversary and announces streaming date

The Quentin Tarantino film ‘Inglourious Basterds’ is marking its 17th anniversary since its 2009 theatrical debut. The alternate history war film, which features a cast including Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, and Mélanie Laurent, grossed over $320 million worldwide and earned eight Academy Award nominations.

Christoph Waltz won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Hans Landa. The film follows two converging plots to target the Nazi high command during World War II, involving a team of Jewish American soldiers and a French cinema proprietor seeking revenge.

In upcoming streaming news, the film is scheduled to become available on Hulu starting September 1, 2026.
