Ingo Lenßen returns to Sat. 1 with new crime series

German broadcaster Sat. 1 will return criminal defense attorney Ingo Lenßen to prime time starting November 2, 2026. The new production, titled ‘Lenßen: Anklage Mord’, consists of three 90-minute films airing weekly at 20:15.

Produced by UFA Serial Drama, the series focuses on serious criminal cases and courtroom drama. The stories are inspired by Lenßen’s decades of experience as a defense lawyer and aim to explore the personal and familial conflicts surrounding the accused. The format is designed to show a more personal side of Lenßen, moving beyond the courtroom to highlight the human emotions and relationships involved in the legal process.

Producer Nadia Wölfel noted that the series emphasizes the right of every individual to be heard, portraying Lenßen as a persistent advocate for his clients even in the most difficult circumstances.
