Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus represent Norway at women's football match

Princess Ingrid Alexandra (22) and Prince Sverre Magnus (20) were sent by the Norwegian royal family to attend the UEFA Women's World Cup qualifier between Norway and Austria at Oslo's Ullevaal Stadium on 9 June. Their appearance replaced Crown Prince Haakon, whose schedule was adjusted after his wife Crown Princess Mette‑Marit was placed on a lung‑transplant waiting list and other senior royals faced health issues.

The siblings’ participation underscores the younger generation’s role in supporting the monarchy during a period of medical concerns within the family. Both are also preparing for studies abroad this autumn – Ingrid Alexandra will study in Oslo as an exchange student, while Sverre Magnus plans to continue his education in Europe.
