Inha University appoints Professor Ki-young Choi as 17th president
Jeongseok Inha Academy has appointed Professor Ki-young Choi, an expert in aerospace engineering, as the 17th president of Inha University. The decision was finalized during a board of directors meeting held on August 27.
Professor Choi, who holds a doctorate from Stanford University, will serve a four-year term beginning September 1, 2026. His previous roles at the university include serving as the Director of the Internationalization Project Group and Vice President of Academic Affairs.
In his new capacity, Professor Choi aims to elevate Inha University to a world-class institution by focusing on educational innovation, strengthening research capabilities, expanding global networks, and establishing a multi-campus system. He also emphasized the importance of building robust cooperation with local communities and industrial sectors.
