Iniciativa Liberal requests hearings for national exam inquiry

The political party Iniciativa Liberal has submitted a request to the parliamentary inquiry commission (CPI) investigating national exams. The group seeks to hear from individuals responsible for the digitalization and error-correction processes of exams, as well as those involved in the audit that identified flaws in the system.

Key figures named in the request include the Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, and the Assistant Secretary of State for Education, Alexandre Homem Cristo. The party also seeks testimony from current and former presidents of the National Exam Jury, Rui Silva Pires and Luís Duque Almeida, and Luís Miguel Pereira dos Santos, who holds leadership roles at EduQA and formerly at IAVE.

Additionally, the request includes representatives from private entities involved in the project, specifically André Fernandes of BLAT - Creative Powerhouse, and executives from Deloitte Portugal, such as António Lagartixo or Sérgio Lee. Iniciativa Liberal has also requested access to all electronic correspondence between the Ministry of Education, IAVE, EduQA, and the National Exam Jury regarding the digital classification pilot project.
