Initio Parfums Privés releases Oud for Grace fragrance

Initio Parfums Privés has released ‘Oud for Grace,’ a new fragrance that reflects a shift in niche perfumery toward more structured and legible interpretations of oud. While oud has historically been associated with the dense, dark resins of the Gulf, this new composition seeks to balance the ingredient’s traditional intensity.

The fragrance is categorized as a spicy woody amber. It features a top note of bergamot to provide clarity, a woody heart centered on oud, and a base of vanilla, praline, and black pepper, supplemented by sandalwood, cedar, and guaiac wood.

Part of the Black Gold Project collection, the fragrance’s visual identity utilizes a bottle emblem inspired by the Tree of Life. The design aims to represent a narrative of balance, transforming a substance often linked to olfactory excess into a disciplined structure.
