Inje Autumn Flower Festival to open September 24

The Inje Autumn Flower Festival is set to begin on September 24 at the Yongdae Tourist Area in Inje, Gangwon Province. Running for 18 days until October 11, the festival is organized under the theme ‘Let’s Walk Only on Flower Paths in Inje.’

The festival grounds are divided into four themed zones: ‘Happiness,’ ‘Love,’ ‘Communication,’ and ‘Healing.’ The ‘Happiness’ zone features the ‘Park In-hwan Romantic Garden,’ which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous romantic poet Park In-hwan. The ‘Love’ zone spans approximately 31,000 square meters with various flowers including sunflowers and petunias, while the ‘Communication’ zone offers waterfront walkways and water sculptures. The ‘Healing’ zone is located in a pine forest and includes treehouses and forest experiences.

To enhance the visitor experience, Inje County is operating special city tour bus routes that connect the festival site with other local landmarks, such as the Yeocho Calligraphy Museum and Baekdamsa Temple. The festival also includes various programs such as busking, stamp tours, and food truck zones. Last year, the event attracted over 300,000 visitors.
