Injective ecosystem expands with ETF filing and Trench Treasury launch
Canary Capital has submitted an amended S-1/A registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for its proposed Canary Staked INJ ETF (ticker: INJC). The fund aims to provide exposure to Injective while earning additional tokens through active participation in staking programs. If approved, the ETF would hold INJ directly, with BitGo Bank & Trust serving as the crypto custodian and U.S. Bank handling cash management.
Simultaneously, the Injective Foundation has launched the Trench Treasury. This initiative is designed to support small-scale builders and projects within the ecosystem, focusing on organic growth, fair launches, and real liquidity. Unlike traditional funds, the Trench Treasury specifically targets smaller teams to encourage new development rather than just supporting established projects.
Market data shows renewed interest in the asset, with Injective’s perpetual volume rising to $54 million. The INJ token has recently maintained support levels following significant price volatility.
