Injective initiates INJ buyback and introduces tokenized stock rewards

Injective is conducting a Community BuyBack event designed to reduce the circulating supply of its native token, INJ, through a permanent burn mechanism. This latest round is expected to remove approximately $300,000 worth of INJ from circulation.

As part of the event, Injective has introduced a program called “Stockdrop.” Participants who commit INJ through the Injective Hub are eligible for a chance to receive a single tokenized stock reward on the Robinhood Chain. While the full list of available assets was not released, the project cited NVIDIA and AMC as examples of companies represented by the available Stock Tokens.

Each participating address is limited to receiving no more than one Stock Token, regardless of the amount of INJ committed. Claims for these rewards will open for one week following the conclusion of the buyback. The program is subject to jurisdictional restrictions and is unavailable in the United States.
