Injective registers as SEC transfer agent to boost tokenization

Injective Institutional Services has registered as a transfer agent with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This regulatory step allows the entity to maintain securities ownership records and process ownership changes, a critical function for the expansion of regulated tokenization and real-world asset (RWA) integration.

Following this announcement, the INJ token experienced a significant price rally, climbing nearly 45% toward the $6 mark. Market analysts note that the move is supported by both the new institutional framework and the project’s deflationary tokenomics, which includes a community buyback mechanism that has removed over 7 million INJ from circulation.

While the SEC registration does not constitute an endorsement of the INJ token itself, it provides a regulated infrastructure that bridges on-chain movements with official off-chain ownership records.
