Injective (INJ) token price approaches 200-day moving average

The Injective (INJ) token has experienced significant price volatility, recently trading near its 200-day simple moving average of approximately $4.13. Following a sharp decline where the token fell nearly 10% in a single day to around $4.17, the market capitalization of the network reached approximately $417.11 million.

Technical indicators show a period of compression and exhaustion. While the price has dropped below several key moving averages, including the 20-day SMA at $4.73 and the 50-day SMA at $4.82, it remains above the 200-day SMA, suggesting the macro bull structure may still be intact. Recent trading has seen tight price ranges, with indicators like the RSI and MACD suggesting a pause in downward momentum rather than an immediate reversal.

Despite the implementation of two mainnet upgrades this summer, the token price has struggled to maintain previous highs. The asset has moved through a sequence of lower highs since its June peak of $7.35, facing resistance at various levels including the $4.73–$4.76 range.
