Injective launches Meridian upgrade and expands into Solana ecosystem

Injective has implemented the Meridian mainnet upgrade (IIP-701) and expanded its ecosystem reach into the Solana network. The Meridian upgrade introduces infrastructure for institutional-grade Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization by establishing regulated token standards on Injective’s EVM layer. This deployment also provides the architectural foundation for upcoming CypherOS privacy features designed to assist with institutional compliance.

To increase accessibility, Injective has integrated its native token, INJ, with the Solana ecosystem through Phantom and Jupiter. This expansion allows Solana users to trade INJ across various applications and wallets. Additionally, the native INJ token is seeing expanded utility through an upcoming Stockdrop, which will enable participants to earn chain revenue and tokenized stocks.

Injective maintains cross-chain bridging capabilities that support compatibility with Ethereum, IBC-enabled chains, and non-EVM blockchains like Solana.
