Injective registers as SEC transfer agent for tokenized assets

Injective Institutional Services, an affiliate of the Injective blockchain ecosystem, has officially registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a transfer agent. This registration allows the entity to maintain regulated securities ownership records and process changes in ownership.

This new capability is intended to complement Injective Mint, the ecosystem's platform for issuing and managing tokenized assets. By providing a regulated recordkeeping component, Injective aims to strengthen its infrastructure for real-world assets (RWAs), including equities and shares in pre-IPO companies. The move positions the network to better support institutional entry into tokenized markets by combining blockchain technology with compliant issuance and settlement systems.
