Series of traffic accidents injure dozens across German states
A number of vehicle collisions across Germany left several people injured. In Munich, a ten‑year‑old cyclist struck an 83‑year‑old nun, causing a concussion and jaw fracture. In Neu‑Isenburg, a head‑on crash between a Volkswagen Golf and a Tesla injured a 21‑year‑old woman and a 36‑year‑old man. A rear‑end collision on Dorstener Straße in Bottrop involving an ambulance injured four, including a severely hurt 20‑year‑old driver. In Gaildorf, an 11‑year‑old girl was lightly injured when a car hit her at a crosswalk and the driver fled the scene. Eisenach saw separate incidents: a tyre burst on a traffic island with the driver registering about 2 ‰ blood‑alcohol, a car fire on the A4, and a motorcycle‑car collision that badly injured a motorcyclist. Near Aalen, a cyclist was brushed aside and suffered minor wounds, while a Harley‑Davidson crash injured a passenger seriously. Additional reports from Deinste and Ostbevern described minor road accidents with light injuries. All incidents prompted police investigations and medical treatment for the victims.
